You can't go home again, or so they say. People change, roads are rerouted, buildings are torn down, and businesses close while new ones open. However, in small towns like Kanesville, IA, things tend to remain the same. People remember, and people gossip. It's a place where everyone knows your name, and trouble often waits around the corner, especially for the young and a bit wild.
Beautiful Disasters is set in a town in Iowa overlooking the Missouri River. It’s a world where love is complicated, loyalty is deep, and found family is everything. The series begins with three friends who navigate the complexities of coming out as a polyamorous triad under the eyes of a community that doesn’t understand that the heart doesn’t care about labels. Here, love is chaotic, tender, and fiercely human. These character‑driven romances are centered on claiming your sexuality, embracing the LGBTQIA+ community, and the complicated beauty of choosing each other.
I fell in love with romance books a long time ago, especially those in the Beautiful Disasters series. My passion for writing sizzling, panty-melting scenes ignited when I won RWA's Reveal Your Inner Vixen Contest a few years back under my historical name. Inspired by my love for small-town romance, I decided to explore deeper and darker themes—no pun intended—while creating a character driven romance series with LGBTQ polyamorous themes. I focus on stories that feature all the heat and happily ever after endings or happy for now. In my tales, like those of Tacia Lynne, my protagonists always get what they need, and my readers do too, particularly in my romance series with found family themes.
Feel free to send me an email if you have any questions about the Beautiful Disasters series or the small-town romance themes found in Tacia Lynne's work. I would be happy to discuss the character driven romance series with LGBTQ polyamorous themes and the romance series with found family themes that she explores. I'll make sure to get back to you soon.
